Opera Batak (Side Event F1H2O)

About the Event
This event is a collaboration between the Samosir Regency Government, through the Department of Culture and Tourism, and the North Sumatra Provincial Government, through the Cultural, Tourism, and Creative Economy Office and UPTD Taman Budaya, supported by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy through the Regional Event Directorate.

The Batak Opera Performance will feature three performances by three art and cultural communities under the guidance of the Department of Culture and Tourism, namely Yayasan Serindo, Sanggar Tunas Kelapa, and Sanggar Angel Elkanean.

This event is a side event of F1H2O 2024 aimed at supporting and enlivening the F1H2O event at Lake Toba in 2024, with the main venue in Balige, Toba Regency. The performances will showcase the Batak Opera Heritage and serve as a means of preserving the Batak Opera performing arts.
