Maniamolo Fest

Maniamölö Fest is an cultural festival held in the traditional village of Hilisimaetanö, South Nias, showcasing local tourism, heritage, and creative economy. Visitors can enjoy iconic attractions such as Famadaya Harimao, a mass war dance, and stone jumping, as well as traditional cuisine, Nias fashion carnival, and local artisan products. The festival features performers of all ages and offers immersive experiences, including traditional welcoming rituals, free cultural gallery tours, and homestay options in traditional Nias houses. Famadaya Harimao has been recognized as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Indonesia 2024.
