Gorontalo Carnaval Karawo

Gorontalo Karnaval Karawo (GKK) is an annual festival that popularizes Karawo, a traditional embroidery from Gorontalo, and has been part of the Top 100 National Tourism Event Calendar since its debut on December 17-18, 2011. Entering its 13th edition in 2024, GKK has been nominated again for the Kharisma Event Nusantara 2025.

With the theme "Pesona Wastra Nusantara" (The Charm of Indonesian Textiles), GKK 2025 will showcase Karawo craft exhibitions, Karawo fashion parades, Karawo Fun Run, Jelajah Rasa Indonesia (Exploring Indonesia's Flavors), Millennial Creative Music, and Sulawesi MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions). The event involves students, MSMEs, local government, banking sectors, and various businesses, bringing together thousands of participants and visitors.
