Festival Bunga dan Buah Karo

The Tanah Karo Flower and Fruit Festival is the oldest cultural festival in Karo Regency, celebrated since the 1980s as a form of gratitude for the region’s abundant harvest. Today, it has evolved into a national tourism event under the Karisma Event Nusantara program. Visitors can enjoy a vibrant carnival featuring decorated floats, fashion parades, and traditional Karo cultural performances. More than 70 local MSME booths offer crafts and culinary specialties, supporting community-based economic growth. This festival has become one of Karo’s key tourism attractions, showcasing local culture, agriculture, and creativity.
