Festival Arak-Arakan Cheng Ho

Festival Arak-Arakan Cheng Ho, which commemorates the arrival of Admiral Zheng He (Sam Poo Tay Djien), is an annual celebration featuring a procession carrying the Statue of the Deity. The festival begins with a walk from the Tay Kak Sie Temple to the Sam Poo Kong Grand Temple. In addition to the procession, the event is filled with art performances showcasing a blend of Chinese and Javanese cultures. The Cheng Ho Festival 2025 carries the theme "Cheng Ho Procession Festival 2025" and will involve around 5,000 participants from various communities and cities. This event serves as a symbol of peace and cultural unity, strengthening relationships among people from different backgrounds.
