Gunung Carstensz Pyramid

For trekking to Carstensz Summit, there are four main walking routes: Route 1: Via Timika – Kampung Dolinokogo (Tsinga) – South Carstensz. Route 2: Via Nabire – Ilaga (Puncak Regency) – North Carstensz. Route 3: Via Nabire – Sugapa (Intan Jaya Regency) – Kampung Ugimba – North/East Carstensz. Route 4: Via Nabire – Sugapa (Intan Jaya Regency) – Kampung Zakumba – Endasiga – North/East Carstensz. The summit is snow-covered, and the climb is highly technical, offering views of lakes, caves, and unique flora and fauna habitats.
