Indonesia is ready to honor a special guest, who will be visiting Jakarta and Bali. His Majesty King Salman Abdul Aziz Al Saud from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is scheduled to land at Halim Perdana Kusuma airport, Jakarta, on 1st of March 2017. Indonesia’s President Mr. Joko Widodo will personally greet him upon arrival and then hold a grand welcome and state dinner in Bogor’s Presidential Palace.
His Majesty will hold his State Visit for three days in Jakarta, when he will, among others, also visit the grand Istiqlal Mosque. A specially built elevator has been installed to transport the VVIPs to the second floor for prayers. Meanwhile, several high-end Hotels have been booked to serve members of the Royal Family and entourage. With a total of 1,500 persons accompanying, including 10 Government Ministers and 25 Princes, the King will then continue to visit Bali from 4-9 March, 2017. There in the lap of green tropical nature filled with peace and serenity, the King and his family will have a private holiday in the most prestigious addresses on the island.
The Jakarta State Visit
For his State visit in Jakarta, news has spread that the Saudi Arabian authorities have booked the city’s luxurious five star hotels close to the Saudi Embassy to accomodate the entire entourage.
