Rang Solok Baralek Gadang

As a flagship commodity of the city, rice plays a significant role in the economic life of Solok, the Rice Granary of West Sumatra. The rice fields, which cover a large part of the city, are a unique attraction, as well as the ongoing food security traditions. One of the flagship programs for food security in Solok is the government's and local communities' commitment to preserving rice fields in the heart of the city. Through the implementation of the Rang Solok Baralek Gadang event, the spirit of preserving food security, traditions, and culture will be strengthened. The theme of this year's event is: Bumi Sanang Padi Manjadi (The Fertile Land of Rice Prosperity).
