Festival Bekudo Bono

The Bekudo Bono Festival at Kampar River, Teluk Meranti, Pelalawan, Riau, is held every November to promote the Bono waves tourism. The festival features thrilling attractions such as the Bekudo Bono race and Bono wave surfing, traditional dances, local music, folk games, an MSME bazaar, and camping. The towering and challenging Bono waves make this sport unique and exciting, rooted in Malay tradition and the Semah ceremony for safety.
