Teknoform Museum, also known as the Information Technology Museum, was officially inaugurated on November 28, 2017. It is recognized as the first information technology museum in Indonesia.

The establishment of the museum was driven by the need for a learning space that could present the development of information technology in a tangible, chronological, and coherent manner. The museum’s collections were sourced from flea markets as well as donations from various contributors, reflecting the long and diverse journey of technological development across different eras.

Teknoform Museum was founded to help the public understand how technology has evolved, from simple mechanical tools and manual calculation systems to the modern digital devices used today.

Teknoform Museum Collections

Teknoform Museum houses a diverse range of information technology-related artifacts, including mechanical calculators, early-generation computers, data storage media, and gaming devices.

One of the museum’s most notable collections is a mechanical calculator and addiator manufactured in 1920. This artifact provides valuable insight into how data calculation and processing were performed before the advent of modern computers. Through these collections, visitors can clearly observe changes in form, function, and technology over time.
