Banyuwangi Ethno Carnival

Banyuwangi Ethno Carnival (BEC) is one of Banyuwangi’s most iconic cultural festivals, showcasing creative ethnic-inspired costume parades with a new theme each year. As part of the annual Banyuwangi Festival, participants march along a 2.5 km route from Taman Blambangan to the Regent’s Office. BEC serves as a platform for cultural preservation, youth creativity, and tourism promotion. This event strengthens Banyuwangi’s branding as the “Sunrise of Java” and “Majestic Banyuwangi,” while increasing tourist arrivals and investment opportunities, positioning the region as a leading cultural and tourism destination in Indonesia and beyond.
