  • Sri Gethuk Waterfall

This magical waterfall, framed by lush greenery, is accessible via river rafting or trekking and costs around IDR 10,000 (USD 0.65) to enter.

  • Pindul Cave and Jomblang Cave

Known for thrilling cave tubing and an unforgettable ‘heavenly light’ view, respectively, these caves are adventure favorites. Entry costs vary; expect around IDR 40,000 (USD 2.50) for Pindul Cave tubing and IDR 450,000 (USD 29) for a Jomblang Cave descent.

2. Wonogiri, Central Java

Wonogiri is renowned for its ancient caves, which are thought to have sheltered prehistoric humans:

  • Goa Tembus Pracimantoro and Goa Sodong

  • Museum Karst Indonesia

  4. Prepare for Modest Entry Fees: Expect entry fees between IDR 10,000 to IDR 50,000 (USD 0.65 to USD 3.20) for most sites. Caving adventures and festivals may cost more.
