Vessels requiring major works need to be moved to the Service Wall or Hardstand prior to work being commenced. Minor repairs, internal painting, mechanical adjustment, varnishing, epoxy and electrical work are permitted within the Marina provided the work does not interfere with normal marina operations, create an annoyance to other berth occupiers or is averse to the environment. Hull maintenance activities which release toxic pollutants into the marine environment are prohibited. The use of sanders and scrapers must be contained on the vessel and vacuumed to avoid pollution and soiling of other vessels.
The Marina Manager may direct the vessel owner and/or their contractors to stop sanding or scraping if the Marina Manager deems such work should be undertaken on the Service Wall or Hardstand. Lombok is an island of 4,514 square kilometers in the West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia, with approximately 3.3 million inhabitants. The island has a unique circular shape with a tail-like shape on its southwest part. It shares some resemblance with Bali in their cultural heritage and stunning landscapes. It is also surrounded by small islands, the Gili.
Since the 2000’s, Lombok shows a steady growth of their tourism sector, which primarily shows in the increasing visitor arrivals. With stunning natural environment that has largely been unspoiled, this area offers a tranquil charm that spreads over its coastlines, forests, and grand mountains. Although beaches are quite a distance from the port of Lembar, every moment of travel is an adventure in this unrefined beauty of an island.
