Mesiwah Pare Gumboh

Mesiwah Pare is a cultural festival of the Dayak Deah community celebrating gratitude for the harvest and honoring the Creator. First held collectively in 2019, it was officially recognized as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Indonesia in 2022. The festival features three unique venues: traditional rituals at the Indigenous Hall, a Cultural Market with performances and “Voice from the Heart of Borneo,” and an Acoustic Forest experience at the camping ground. Set in the enchanting natural surroundings of Liyu Village, Mesiwah Pare offers an authentic cultural journey filled with tradition, art, and spiritual meaning.
