Lebaran Tenabang

About The Event

Lebaran Tenabang is an event initiated by the Sikumbang Tenabang Foundation with the aim of preserving and developing Betawi cultural arts as part of Indonesia's diverse heritage. In addition to serving as a gathering and halal bi halal event for the community around Tanah Abang, Lebaran Tenabang showcases the creative works of Betawi cultural art groups under the guidance of Sikumbang Tenabang.

The event will be held on May 11, 2024, in front of the Tanah Abang District Office, Central Jakarta, DKI Jakarta, and will feature a series of activities including Betawi martial arts competitions, Betawi dance creations, a goat skinning contest (nyeset), performances of gambang kromong, Orkes Samrah, palang pintu, and a Pop Up Market.
