Balikpapan Fest

Balikpapan Fest is an annual event that aims to boost tourist visits to Balikpapan from outside the region. In 2025, Balikpapan Fest will mark its sixth year since its debut in 2020.

The theme for Balikpapan Fest 2025 is "Harmony of the Archipelago," highlighting the local wisdom of Balikpapan as a coastal city that integrates various elements of art, culture, creative economy, and tourism.  

The festival features a blend of traditional and modern dance performances, music entertainment, fashion shows, and culinary festivals. The event engages various community elements, including cultural associations, art studios, and creative economy players in Balikpapan, to participate in the series of activities.
