Puteri Indonesia 2026
Puteri Indonesia 2026 marks the 29th edition of Indonesia’s most eminent national beauty pageant, scheduled for April 24, 2026, at the Plenary Hall of Jakarta International Convention Center (JICC) in Jakarta. This annual pageant is a celebration of beauty, culture, and intellect, highlighting women who represent the diversity and strength of Indonesia.
Organized by the Puteri Indonesia Foundation (YPI), the event has been a cornerstone of Indonesian cultural events since its inception in 1992. Over the years, Puteri Indonesia has grown beyond a simple beauty contest — it now serves as a national tradition that unites participants from all parts of the archipelago.
The 2026 grand final will be hosted by well-known personalities Choky Sitohang and Patricia Gouw, and broadcasted nationwide via SCTV, Vidio, and the official Puteri Indonesia YouTube channel, allowing fans across Indonesia to witness the crowning moment live.
Leading up to the national final, regional selection contests have been held in several provinces, including South Sumatra, East Java, West Nusa Tenggara, West Kalimantan, and South Sulawesi. Winners from these regional pageants earn their spots as official contestants in Puteri Indonesia 2026.
In addition, there is the Puteri Indonesia Favorite Regional category, where contestants with the highest votes from each province compete for a spot in the national finals. This reflects both fair competition and active public involvement in the selection process.
More than a beauty pageant, Puteri Indonesia serves as a platform to elevate Indonesian women’s potential in areas such as leadership, cultural advocacy, and public speaking. The winners of this contest typically go on to represent Indonesia in major international pageants, showcasing Indonesian talent on a global stage.
With its extensive program and participants representing diverse cultures, Puteri Indonesia 2026 remains one of the most anticipated national events, capturing the attention of millions and celebrating the spirit of Indonesia’s women.
