Pangandaran Kite Festival

The Pangandaran Kite Festival (PIKF) 2025 aims to attract tourists, extend their stay, and boost the local economy through tourism and creative industries. With the theme “Pangandaran Mengudara, Makin Mendunia” (Soaring Higher, Reaching the World), the event will welcome kite flyers from 21 Indonesian cities/regencies, 8 Asian countries, and 7 European countries.

Visitors can enjoy exciting activities such as international kite-flying competitions, kite painting contests, traditional kite-pulling competitions, folk song (pupuh) contests, and traditional games like Gatrik and Panggal. The festival will also feature cultural performances showcasing the rich heritage of Pangandaran.
