Through his research, Frater Maria Vianney documented approximately 80 mollusk families found in Indonesia. Hundreds of specimens from his studies were initially donated to a higher education institution and later recollected starting in 1998. This interest in mollusk studies was subsequently continued by Frater Clemens.
The museum also collaborates with the East Java Natural Resources Conservation Agency (BKSDA) in animal custody and care. This collaboration enables the museum to function not only as an exhibition space but also as a learning center for wildlife conservation and animal care practices.
