Bali Governor, Made Mangku Pastika, recently welcomed the decision by Miss World Organization, expressing his support to hold Miss World 2013 Contest in Bali in September 2013. Governor Pastika said this when he received a courtesy call by Miss World 2011, Ivian Sarcos from Venezuala, who was accompanied by Chairwoman of Miss World Organization Julia Morely, Miss Indonesia Astrid Ellena, and CEO of MNC (television) Group Hary Tanoesoedibjo.
During one entire month in September 2013, over 131 of the world’s most beautiful girls are expected to contest for the coveted Miss World title, which event will be broadcast around the world.
The decision to hold next year’s Miss World Contest on the fables island of Bali has been enthusiastically received by many countries that regularly send contestants to this popular international event.
Besides enjoying the attractions of Bali during this visit, the organizers also looked into sites and facilities to hold next year’s event.
During the courtesy call, Governor Pastika bade a warm welcome to Miss World Ivian Sarcos and the Miss World Delegation and hoped that they will enjoy Bali’s attractive nature and culture during their stay on the island. Governor Pastika hopes that through this prestigious event the island of Bali will be even more well known around the globe.
