Bandung is hub for Air Asia Indonesia international flights

Air Asia Indonesia has announced that starting 1 December the airline will launch its Bandung - Johor Bahru (Malaysia) flights.

This will be the third city the airline flies to internationally from Bandung, next to Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. The Bandung-Johor Bahru route will be served four times weekly, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, using Airbus A320 planes with a capacity for 180 passengers. The demand for flights from Johor to Bandung is high, Dharmadi, CEO of Air Asia Indonesia pointed out.

Additionally, the airline plans to increase flight frequency between Bandung - Denpasar from twice to three times daily, equally Bandung-Singapore increased to 3 times daily and Bandung- Kuala Lumpur from 3 times to 4 times daily, also starting 1 December.

Meanwhile, Garuda Indonesia has also launched two new domestic routes, namely between Semarang, capital of Central Java, and Denpasar, Bali, and from Batam (Riau Islands) to Bandar Lampung.

The Semarang-Bali flights will be undertaken once daily, leaving Semarang at 12.45 hrs. arriving at Denpasar, Bali, at 15.00 Local time. While from Bali the plane leaves at 11.50 hrs., arriving in Semarang at 12.00 hrs. There is a one hour time difference between the islands of Java and Bali. Garuda has 11 flights daily from Semarang, among others to Jakarta and Surabaya.

While for the Batam-Bandar Lampur flight, the plane leaves Batam at 11.25 hrs. and arrives Bandar Lampung at 12.55 hrs. The return flight leaves Bandar Lampung at 13.35 hrs. arriving in Batam at 15.00 hrs.

With this new flight, Garuda has 9 flights daily from Batam to domestic destinations.
