National Youth Tourism Competition 2013: “Going Higher & Growing Further”

In response to the ever growing challenges faced by the tourist industry, and to prepare the next generation to become tourism personalities, the Nusa Dua Bali Tourism Institute (STP Nusa Dua Bali) will present the National Youth Tourism Competition 2013. The Competition will take place from  6th to 8th February 2013 at the Campus of the Nusa Dua Bali Tourism Institute, in Nusa Dua  on the enchanting island of Bali.


Carying the theme: “Going Higher & Growing Further” as expression of readiness to face increasing challenges, the event features various competitions open to High School and University students and the youth in general .


Compeitions include: a National Cooking Competition, a National Flair Bartending Competition, and a National Essay Competition. The National Youth Tourism Competition (NYTC) 2013 is open to the public carrying a total prize award of IDR25 million, and a ticket to be enrolled as student to STP Nusa Dua Bali.

 

The National Cooking Competition will feature the theme “International Seafood Main course” and takes place at the Kitchen Stadium of STP Nusa Dua Bali. The competition will be judged by culinary practitioners, professional culinary experts, and representatives from sponsors.


Carrying the theme “Go for Gold”, the National Flair Bartending Competition will take place at the STP Bali Sports Building, featuring judges from Professional Bartenders, National Bartending Judges, and sponsors’ representatives.


The National Essay Competitions is open to any High School and University students, as well as independent participants of 20 years old and younger. The Essay Competition features the theme:  “Challenges and Opportunities in developing Historical tourist attractions in Indonesia”. Five finalists will be selected to present their works on 7th February at the Widyatula Building, STP Nusa Dua Bali. The Essay will be judged by national tourism academicians and experts, Finalists will be announced on 31st January 2013.  


Registration is open until 23.59 hours Central Indonesia Time, on 18th January 2013
