Il Divo & Orchestra Live in Jakarta

The phenomenal Operatic-pop vocal group Il Divo will be back in Jakarta to present their spellbinding vocal harmony on 25 February 2012 at Ritz-Carlton Pacific Place, Jakarta in a show entitled Il Divo & Orchestra in Concert. The group last performed in Jakarta in 2007 and 2009.
With the release of their seventh and latest album entitled Wicked Game in November 2011, their appearance in Jakarta will be part of a world tour to last through the year to promote the album. The album Wicked Game itself illustrates the maturity in the evolution of Il Divo in combining the beautiful harmony of the songs with their exceptional singing abilities. Audiences in Jakarta will be among those fortunate enough to be thrilled by their new hits performed live, specially accompanied by the beautiful sounds of the orchestra.
Formed in the United Kingdom by music manager, executive, and reality TV star, Simon Cowell, Il Divo (literally "divine male performer" in Italian) is a multinational operatic pop vocal group consisting of French pop singer Sébastien Izambard, Spanish baritone Carlos Marín, American tenor David Miller, and Swiss tenor Urs Bühler. The group sings in Spanish, English, Italian, and French, and was named the Most Multinational UK No.1 Album Group in the 2006 edition of the Guinness Book of World Records. To date, the Il Divo has sold more than 26 million albums worldwide.
The concert itself will also mark the beginning of a long term collaboration between the promoter Bigdaddy with Nation Live which is known as the largest integrated entertainment company to date. Nation Live itself actively staged over 22,000 shows each year, runs 117 show venues, and manages some of the world’s mega stars including Madonna, U2, and Shakira. Tickets are already available from 24 January 2012, ranging from IDR 750,000 to IDR 3.000.000 through www.myticket.co.id or its outlets in Jakarta, Bekasi, and Surabaya.
