Go out to the inner town of Labuan Bajo to find rows of souvenir shops selling key chains, local fabric called ikat, T-shirts and Komodo dragon carvings. The best souvenirs you can get is the local coffee as it tastes very strong and also aromatic. Some people come to taste the spicy chilly. One miniscule chilly is much hotter than the jalapenos. Be careful if someone challenges you to taste one although it is only an addition to your noodle soup. You will cry in tears, sweat as if you are sitting in a sauna, and have a running nose.
