Jakarta International Java Jazz Festival 2017 is here again!

 

Jazz enthusiasts and music lovers, brace yourself! The world’s biggest jazz festival,the Jakarta International Java Jazz Festival or popularly known as Java Jazz will again turn the capital city of Jakarta into the ‘Mecca’ of Jazz on 3rd to 5th March 2017 at the Jakarta International Exhibition Center, Kemayoran.

Having firmly established Jakarta as Asia's capital of Jazz, this year the festival is back with a bolder agenda to spread the groove of Jazz to the entire planet. Entering its 13th edition this year, the jazz fiesta will feature no less than 150 renowned musicians from all over the globe. There will be 60 shows per day for a full three days held on 14 stages. This year, the festival will feature no special show so that everybody can enjoy all performances without additional charges. Although there will be no special shows, if there’s one thing the festival is known for is that every single performance is exceptional.

As always, Java Jazz 2017 will again feature some of the world’s most prominent musicians.

The lineup is still expanding with more of both international and national artists confirming their attendance in due course.

As the line-up gets more and more impressive each year, Indonesia  has firmly establishes itself on the world music map. Transforming Jakarta into the Capital of Jazz, the Java Jazz Festival is constantly committed to promote Indonesia through music, making it a true Mecca of Jazz.
